In line with the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, the Ministry of Interior carried out an extensive Khiran security campaign on Friday evening.
This campaign is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enforce the rule of law, enhance road safety, and maintain public security across all regions of Kuwait.
The operation was supervised by Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawwas, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, and led by Brigadier Abdullah Ahmed Al-Ateeqi, Head of the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector, along with Brigadier Anwar Ahmed Al-Yatami, Head of the Human Resources and Information Technology Affairs Sector.
🔹 Results of the Khiran Security Campaign:
- 467 various traffic violations were recorded.
- 10 individuals were placed in precautionary detention.
- 1 wanted person was arrested.
- 1 person was apprehended for violating residency laws.
- 3 individuals were referred for not carrying a driving license.
- 1 juvenile was referred to the authorities.
- 2 vehicles and 1 motorcycle were referred to the judiciary.
- 20 vehicles and motorcycles were impounded.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized that the Khiran security campaign reflects its firm commitment to upholding the law, ensuring road safety, and protecting citizens and residents.
