Kuwait weather:The Meteorology Department has forecasted dense fog this evening, leading to reduced visibility — and in some areas, possibly zero visibility.
According to Acting Director of the Meteorological Department, Darrar Al-Ali, relative humidity is expected to rise starting Wednesday evening, increasing the likelihood of fog formation and reducing horizontal visibility to less than 1,000 meters in several regions.
Al-Ali added that weather maps, satellite images, and numerical models indicate that Kuwait is currently under the influence of a high-pressure system extending from the northwest. This system is accompanied by a moderately warm and humid air mass with light, variable southeasterly winds.
He further noted that fog may continue to form in certain areas over the coming days, while clouds are expected to increase gradually. There will also be a chance of light, scattered rain — possibly accompanied by thunderstorms — on Saturday and Sunday.
