Kuwait City, July 21– Customs officers at Terminal 4 (T4) of Kuwait International Airport have seized a total of 200 kilograms of banned chewing tobacco in two separate smuggling attempts involving four Bangladeshi nationals.
According to a statement issued by the General Administration of Customs, the first case involved a single passenger caught carrying 40 kilograms of the prohibited substance. Later the same day, customs officials intercepted another 159 kilograms in the possession of three other passengers, all from the same community.
The Airport Customs Administration promptly took legal action by issuing seizure reports and referring the violators to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
