The General Traffic Department, through its Highways Department, conducted a series of intensive campaigns on the Seventh Ring Road and other highways between Wednesday, August 13, 2025, and Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The campaigns aimed to monitor and apprehend law violators and individuals wanted by authorities.
During this period, authorities issued 3,239 traffic citations, impounded two vehicles, and referred three cases to the traffic police. Additionally, 36 individuals were referred to the police station for failing to provide identification.
The campaign also resulted in the seizure of 56 vehicles wanted by the judiciary, the arrest of three individuals wanted by the judiciary, 115 violators of residency and labor laws, and 12 juveniles caught driving without a license.
