Kuwait and Philippines Strengthen Ties on Filipino Worker Recruitment

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) announced that its Acting Director General, Marzouq Al-Otaibi, recently held a meeting with Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Meshari Al-Nibar, to discuss the latest developments in the recruitment of Filipino workers.

During the meeting, both parties explored avenues to enhance cooperation and streamline recruitment processes. Al-Otaibi highlighted the Authority’s ongoing efforts to utilize all available resources and mechanisms to facilitate the entry of Filipino workers into Kuwait, ensuring their rights and well-being under Kuwaiti Labor Law.

He reaffirmed PAM’s commitment to protecting the rights of expatriate workers, noting that Kuwait’s labor market continues to attract talent with the necessary skills to meet the country’s development needs.
