Kuwait City:In a decisive move to enhance road safety and strengthen public security, the General Directorate of Rescue Police carried out an extensive mobile security and traffic campaign on Thursday across multiple areas of the Capital Governorate.
The operation — part of the ongoing strategy to maintain law and order without establishing fixed checkpoints — resulted in a significant number of arrests and violations.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the campaign led to:
519 traffic violations issued
2 wanted individuals arrested
2 cases of absenteeism recorded
2 persons arrested in drug-related cases
3 violators detained for breaching residency and labor laws
8 wanted vehicles seized
21 vehicles impounded for various offenses
1 person referred to the Traffic Police
Authorities confirmed that similar mobile patrol campaigns will continue across all governorates around the clock, emphasizing their commitment to upholding traffic discipline and ensuring the safety of all road users in Kuwait.
