During an extraordinary session held earlier today, chaired by Abdullah Al-Mahri, the Council endorsed the minutes of the Committee for Studying Proposals and Requests for Naming Cities, Suburbs, Regions, Streets, and Squares, formed under Ministerial Resolution No. 558 of 2023.
As per the committee’s recommendations, 591 street names will be replaced with numbers, 3 streets will be renamed after Arab cities and capitals, and 66 existing street names will be retained.
