Al-Yousef Oversees Major Security Campaign in Mahboula: 263 Arrested for Violations

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior announced the implementation of a major security campaign in the Mahboula area under the direct supervision of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. The campaign, conducted on Friday, led to the arrest of several wanted individuals and violators of residency and labor laws.

According to the ministry, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef and in the presence of Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs. The campaign involved coordination between multiple departments, including the Criminal Security Sector, governorate investigations, the General Fire Force, and the Medical Emergency Department.

The ministry explained that the campaign resulted in the following:

  • 203 violators of the Residence and Labor Law arrested.
  • 23 individuals wanted on arrest warrants detained.
  • 6 individuals found in abnormal conditions.
  • 26 arrested in prostitution cases.
  • 4 suspected cases detected.
  • 1 case of impersonation of the opposite sex recorded.

The total number of arrests reached 263 individuals.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef instructed authorities to take all necessary legal actions against the violators, emphasizing the importance of continued field monitoring and strict enforcement of the law to ensure fairness and uphold public order.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed that security campaigns will continue across all governorates, calling on citizens and residents to cooperate with security forces and comply with laws and regulations to maintain the nation’s safety and stability.
