The Public Authority for Manpower confirmed that Kuwait Manpower Decision 2025 regarding the regulation of working hours officially came into effect on November 1, 2025. This decision, published in the Official Gazette (Kuwait Today) on September 14, aims to improve transparency and organization within the private sector by implementing modern electronic systems to monitor and manage working hours and holidays.

According to the Authority’s statement, employers are now required to enter all information related to daily working hours, rest periods, weekly breaks, and official holidays through the Authority’s approved electronic system. They must also ensure that any updates to these details are promptly recorded.

The Authority clarified that the electronically entered data will serve as an official reference for inspection and compliance purposes. Employers must print and display the updated working hour regulations at their workplace for employees and inspectors to view easily. This system replaces the traditional paper-based attendance records.

Furthermore, the Authority emphasized that violating Kuwait Manpower Decision 2025 could lead to legal penalties, including the partial or total suspension of a company’s file under Law No. (6) of 2010 governing private sector employment.

The Public Authority for Manpower concluded its statement by urging all private sector employers to update their data immediately to ensure compliance and maintain a transparent, law-abiding work environment.
