The Director General of Kuwait Municipality has issued Administrative Decision No. 2025/2121 GM regarding the removal of unsafe properties in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The decision requires the owners of 67 listed properties to evacuate and demolish their buildings within two weeks from the date of publication in the official gazette, Kuwait Today.
Reports from the Governmental Center for Testing, Quality Control, and Research, affiliated with the Ministry of Public Works, confirmed that these buildings are unsafe, at risk of collapse, and pose imminent danger to lives, property, and public safety.
The municipality will monitor compliance, and if owners fail to remove the buildings within the deadline, the authorities will demolish them at the owners’ expense after ensuring the properties are vacated.
Publication in the Official Gazette serves as official notification, and the decision takes effect from the date of publication.
