Civil Information Authority:The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has launched a new electronic service called “Request to Access Information” through the unified government app “Sahel”. This initiative aligns with the provisions of the Right to Access Law and aims to strengthen transparency in accessing official data and information.
The new service enables users with legitimate interests to submit formal requests for specific information directly through the app. Users can also attach supporting documents, simplifying procedures and accelerating the process of obtaining information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
PACI emphasized that this launch is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance electronic services and expand digital transformation. The service empowers individuals to exercise their legal right to access data and information efficiently and conveniently.
Officials added that the introduction of this service is another step toward promoting government transparency, modernizing digital services, and ensuring that the needs of citizens and residents are met.
