Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior has carried out a large-scale security and traffic campaign on Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Bridge as part of its ongoing efforts to enforce the rule of law and enhance road safety across the country.
The campaign, conducted from the evening of Friday, October 24, until the morning of Saturday, October 25, 2025, was launched under the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef. It was jointly implemented by the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Rescue Police, and the General Department of Security Systems.
The operation was supervised by Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, with the participation of Brigadier Abdullah Al-Atiqi, Head of the Traffic and Operations Sector; Brigadier Anwar Al-Yatama, Head of the Human Resources and Information Technology Sector; along with several senior security officers.
According to the Ministry, the campaign achieved the following results:
- Arrest of 1 violator of the residence and labor law.
- Arrest of 4 missing persons.
- Arrest of 3 wanted individuals.
- Seizure of 3 vehicles required by authorities.
- Referral of 1 person in an abnormal condition to the relevant department.
- Impoundment of 13 vehicles and 5 motorcycles.
- 6 violators referred to precautionary detention.
- 618 traffic violations issued.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed that security and traffic campaigns will continue on major roads and key areas nationwide to ensure public safety and compliance with laws.
