Apple’s highly anticipated Awe Dropping event kicked off at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, unveiling a new generation of products that blend innovation, design, and cultural relevance—especially for users in the Middle East.
The event began with the Apple Watch Series 11, featuring a larger display, blood pressure monitoring, and sleep disturbance detection. Designed with wellness in mind, it’s an ideal companion for fitness-conscious users during Ramadan fasting. Apple also introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, built for extreme sports and equipped with satellite communication—a lifeline for professionals in remote areas such as oil fields. The Apple Watch Series 11 is priced at $399, while the Apple Watch Ultra 3 costs $799. Additionally, the new Apple Watch SE launched at $249, offering advanced health features at an affordable price, making it attractive to young users in Kuwait and across the Gulf.
Next came the AirPods Pro 3, priced at $249, with enhanced noise cancellation, real-time translation, and heart rate monitoring. Apple also unveiled the AirPods 4 at $129, featuring spatial audio and a built-in hearing test for improved accessibility.
CEO Tim Cook revealed the iPhone 17 Air, Apple’s thinnest iPhone at just 5.5mm, replacing the previous Plus model. It features a 6.6-inch Super Retina XDR display with a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, a 48MP rear camera, and performance powered by the A19 chip, which is 20% faster than before. Cooling has been upgraded with vapor chamber technology to withstand up to 50°C, an important feature for users in Kuwait and the Gulf. The iPhone 17 Air also includes Wi-Fi 7, Apple Intelligence with real-time Arabic translation, and an eco-friendly recycled aluminum body available in new two-tone colors. Battery capacity reaches 5,000 mAh, and pricing starts at $949.
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max were also announced, featuring titanium bodies, 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, and triple 48MP cameras with 8x optical zoom and 8K video recording. Powered by the A19 Pro chip with up to 12GB RAM, these devices are designed for advanced tasks such as 8K video editing, AR applications, and virtual visits to Mecca. The iPhone 17 starts at $799, the iPhone 17 Air at $949, the iPhone 17 Pro at $1,099, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max at $1,199. Battery life is 20% longer, with support for 50W MagSafe charging, and both models include privacy-focused Apple Intelligence tools tailored to Arab cultural values.
Apple also introduced the AirTag 2, with extended range to help track items, particularly useful during Hajj pilgrimages. Updates to the Vision Pro were announced as well, now optimized for iOS 26, supporting augmented reality tours of major heritage sites.
Pre-orders for the new lineup open on September 12, 2025, with the official release on September 19, 2025. All devices ship with iOS 26, which features the new Liquid Glass interface and enhanced privacy protections.
