Civil Aviation Authority:The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced that several inbound flights to Kuwait International Airport have been redirected to airports in neighboring countries due to dense fog and extremely low visibility.
Civil Aviation spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi explained that visibility at the airport has dropped to less than 100 meters, making takeoffs and landings unsafe. As a precaution, some incoming flights have been diverted to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
He confirmed that flight operations will gradually resume once weather conditions improve and visibility returns to normal. The DGCA continues to monitor the situation closely, and all updates will be communicated through official channels.
Al-Rajhi expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of travelers and airlines, emphasizing that these safety measures are necessary to protect everyone and maintain smooth air traffic once conditions stabilize.
