As per the directives of the Chief of the General Fire Force, Major General Talal Al-Roumi, and under the field supervision of Deputy Chief of the Firefighting Sector, Brigadier General Yousef Al-Saafak, the General Fire Force conducted an inspection campaign yesterday in the Al-Rai area. The campaign was carried out in coordination with several government entities.
According to a statement from the Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force, the campaign aimed to identify and take action against buildings and facilities found in violation of fire safety regulations, as well as infractions identified by other participating authorities. The campaign led to the issuance of violations and administrative closures for several establishments that failed to comply with safety requirements set by the Fire Department and other regulatory bodies.
In a separate development, the General Fire Force, through its Specialized Training Center, concluded a training course on basic fire prevention and firefighting for employees of the Kuwait Industries Federation. The course focused on enhancing awareness and prevention of fire incidents, along with practical training on the use of various types of fire extinguishers.
A significant number of employees participated in the course, which included theoretical sessions and hands-on training on managing fire emergencies and handling firefighting equipment. The administration confirmed that the General Fire Force, through its Specialized Training Center, continues to provide specialized courses to both government institutions and private sector entities in an effort to boost awareness and preparedness regarding fire safety.
