Kuwait City: Coinciding with its 20th anniversary, Jazeera Airways inaugurated the Kuwait Aviation Safety Forum, the first event of its kind in the country this year.
The forum gathered national regulatory authorities, international aircraft manufacturers, safety organizations, universities, and airlines to discuss collaboration in enhancing global aviation safety standards.
Opening remarks were delivered by Jazeera Airways CEO Bharathan Pasupathy and Chief Government Relations Officer Nasser Al-Obaid, emphasizing that safety remains the airline’s top priority. Abdullah Al Rajhi, Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety and Air Transport Affairs, delivered an honorary address highlighting the importance of joint safety initiatives.
Experts from Airbus, Boeing, CFM International, and the International Airworthiness Federation (IFA) participated in discussions under the theme “United for Excellence in Aviation Safety.”
Topics included emerging safety challenges, managing mental health and burnout risks, cybersecurity in aviation, and operations in conflict zones.
Through this milestone event, Jazeera Airways reaffirmed its leadership in Kuwait’s aviation sector and its commitment to raising safety standards across the region.
