The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced on Thursday that air traffic at Kuwait International Airport has resumed following an improvement in weather conditions and increased horizontal visibility.
Civil Aviation spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi told the Kuwait News Agency that both arriving and departing flights have restarted after a temporary suspension earlier in the day caused by heavy fog and visibility dropping below 50 meters.
Al-Rajhi explained that airport operations and air traffic control teams worked continuously to monitor the situation and ensure a smooth and safe return to normal flight operations. He confirmed that flights are now operating according to regular schedules in coordination with airlines and relevant authorities.
He added that the Civil Aviation Authority continues to closely monitor weather conditions in cooperation with concerned agencies to maintain the safety of passengers and ensure the uninterrupted flow of air traffic.
