Kuwait City – The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced a major cleanup operation in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, resulting in the removal of 10 abandoned vehicles, scrap metal, boats, and illegal commercial containers, along with the issuance of 25 violations for public cleanliness and road obstruction.
Extensive Cleanup and Inspections
According to the Municipality’s statement, the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Cleaning Team issued 52 removal notices targeting abandoned vehicles and unauthorized commercial containers. In addition, 27 old containers were replaced with new ones to enhance public hygiene standards.
Focus on Public Cleanliness
The Public Cleanliness and Road Occupations Department at the Mubarak Al-Kabeer branch carried out comprehensive tours across residential areas. These inspections aimed to:
- Raise the overall level of cleanliness.
- Remove all obstructions from roads.
- Improve the public view by eliminating eyesores.
- Prevent the dumping of waste outside designated containers.
The Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public health and urban aesthetics through continuous field inspections and strict enforcement of municipal regulations.
