KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10 — The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center announced that the third phase of the Al-Wasam season, known as “Al-Ghafar,” will begin tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11) and continue for 13 days. This period marks the start of the second half of the Al-Wasam season, during which temperatures begin to noticeably decline across the country.

According to the center, Al-Ghafar is the seventh station of autumn, characterized by generally cooler conditions and moderate daytime weather. During this phase, nighttime hours gradually increase, while daylight hours shorten. The center noted that the Asr prayer time reaches its earliest point of the year, occurring at 2:34 p.m. at the beginning of the phase and 2:31 p.m. by its end.

The length of the night reaches 13 hours and 12 minutes, while the sunrise time changes from 6:08 a.m. at the beginning of the period to 6:19 a.m. at its conclusion.

From an agricultural perspective, Al-Ghafar is considered an ideal time to plant winter grains, fertilize palm trees, and turn over the soil in preparation for the colder months.

The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center added that the Al-Ghafar phase also marks the onset of winter phenomena, as nights become colder, days remain mild, winds strengthen during the daytime, and sea conditions turn rough, with cooler water temperatures observed in the morning..Stay updated on Kuwait’s latest news and job openings by following our WhatsApp channel!https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaCkXo25q08jnKrRwo27
