The closure is part of a comprehensive road rehabilitation plan aimed at enhancing the quality and durability of Kuwait’s expressway network. Authorities confirmed that the maintenance work will involve complete resurfacing of the asphalt layers and will continue for a period of 33 consecutive days.
Motorists are urged to use alternative routes during this period and to strictly follow posted traffic signs to ensure safety and minimize congestion. The Authority stressed its commitment to improving road infrastructure while maintaining traffic flow and public safety.
