Salmiya has emerged as the most densely populated area in Kuwait, according to the latest statistics released by the Public Authority for Civil Information as of June 30, 2025.
The data shows that Salmiya leads with a population of 331,462 residents. Coming in second is Al-Farwaniya with 309,871, followed by Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh with 282,263. Hawalli holds the fourth position with 242,214, while Mahboula ranks fifth with 230,854 residents.
This growing population concentration in key urban areas reflects important trends in Kuwait’s demographic distribution and serves as a critical resource for urban planning, infrastructure development, and the enhancement of public services.
