Amidst rising heatwaves, residents and donors from Shuwaikh Residential Area and nearby neighborhoods have created a shining example of voluntary environmental commitment. Together, they transformed the once-barren space overlooking the Second Ring Road into a beautiful green landscape adorned with tall palm trees and thousands of hand-planted seedlings, turning the area into a living artwork.
This ongoing project is led and supervised by Engineer Haifa Al-Muhanna, under the patronage of Sheikh Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Governor of Ahmadi and Chairman of the Green Urban Development Initiatives Committee. The project stands as a symbol of dedication, planning, and creative vision — each tree, plant, and design element carefully selected to bring beauty and sustainability to the community.
Such a refined and elegant result was only possible through tireless effort and a focus on every small detail, from infrastructure and water systems to soil quality, irrigation techniques, and the seamless coordination of manual labor and machinery.

Yet, the true brilliance of this project is not just in its visual appeal — it lies in its power as a model for future environmental volunteers. It reflects a deep love for the country, a passion for preserving nature, and a commitment to inspiring others to follow in the same path.
This initiative is more than a green space — it is a reminder of the impact thoughtful, collective action can have when driven by vision, community spirit, and environmental responsibility.
