Kuwait City, October 30, 2025 — Under the patronage of Sheikh Sabah Bader Al-Salem, Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Acting Governor of Hawalli, the Tourism Projects Company (TPC) officially inaugurated the newly redeveloped Messilah Beach (Balaj 2) — a key milestone in the advancement of Kuwait’s tourism and entertainment sector.
The event was attended by top government and tourism officials, including Salem Al-Wotayan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Administrative and Financial Affairs; representatives from the Kuwait Investment Authority; and TPC executives, led by CEO Anwar Al-Halila and Marketing Director Abdullah Al-Rifai.
In his speech, Al-Halila emphasized that the reopening of Messilah Beach aligns with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to transform Kuwait into a world-class tourism and leisure destination.
He noted that the beach underwent a complete renovation in 2023 and was offered for private sector management in 2024 to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and visitor experience — blending modern innovation with authentic Kuwaiti identity.
After the inauguration, attendees explored the modern beachfront facilities, enjoying the vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere of the new Messilah Beach.
Marketing Director Abdullah Al-Rifai reaffirmed TPC’s commitment to strengthening Kuwait’s presence on the regional tourism map.
He highlighted that the revamped Messilah Beach offers enclosed and open spaces, restaurants and cafés, children’s play areas, and various entertainment options, making it a top family leisure destination in Kuwait.
Al-Rifai also announced that Winterland Kuwait will open on November 6, following the successful launches of Luna Park and Messilah Beach, underscoring TPC’s continuous efforts to expand tourism and recreation venues across the country.
Covering 70,000 square meters, the new Messilah Beach features a 250-meter sandy coastline, four swimming pools, a Sky Trail, sports courts, green areas, and 350 shaded parking spaces.
It also includes a mix of local and international restaurants, water sports, and year-round events, making it one of Kuwait’s most attractive seaside destinations.
