Abdullah Al-Rafie, Acting Director of Marketing at the Tourism Projects Company, said that the opening of the fourth season of Winter Wonderland 2025 is an exciting addition to tourism and entertainment in Kuwait. The project is witnessing many new additions and surprises for visitors, and it is expected to attract more than 800,000 visitors this season.
Al-Rafie expressed his delight at the opening of the fourth season of Winter Wonderland 2025 on the Arabian Gulf, covering an area of 129,000 square meters, which contains 70 different games divided between children and adults, in addition to 5 new rides.
Regarding the new rides, he highlighted the Holmblet ride, the largest indoor mobile roller coaster in the world, along with “Run the World,” the longest ride in Kuwait, spanning 60 meters in height and 60 meters in area, as well as the “Slingshot” ride and “Flya and Ward Boost.” This year, the project will also include a theater specializing in barbecues and concerts.
He mentioned that ticket prices have been reduced to two dinars and can be purchased through the Tourism Projects Company application. The Winter Wonderland 2025 season will continue from the 6th of this month until the end of next April.
Al-Rafie also revealed that the “Key Land” project will be opened soon, along with the “John” project opening on the 16th of this month. He stressed that “Visa Kuwait,” in cooperation with the Ministry of Information, is a major supporter of tourism projects in Kuwait, working to attract tourists and the public from outside Kuwait.
He emphasized that the public sector and government agencies are working to implement Kuwait Vision 2035, and that opening projects like Winter Wonderland 2025 with private sector participation contributes to boosting the economy and restoring Kuwait on the tourist map. The Tourism Projects Company has also provided 40 investment opportunities for restaurants, cafes, and retail stores, as well as 266 job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth, highlighting the company’s role in employment, social responsibility, and skill development.
